Deposit Options

Online Deposit System

Students can make deposits to their BuckID account online, in addition to viewing their account history and balance, using the MyBuckID System. Or, make a Quick Deposit, great for parents making deposits on their student's account. Visa, MasterCard and Discover deposits are applied to your account and are reflected on your BuckID within minutes. Credit card deposits over the phone are not accepted.

Deposit Into BuckID Account When Paying Fees

Deposits to BuckID can be made with your fee payment if you have indicated your intent to do so on your Housing Agreement. The deposit amount will be included in your fee statement. The deposit will be applied after your fees are paid in full. If you are paying with the TOPP plan, your deposit will be applied after the first payment. Your deposit will be assessed every term you are enrolled during the academic year. If you wish to discontinue your deposit, contact the Housing Office at housing@osu.edu.

In Person at the Columbus BuckID Office

Check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover deposits are accepted at the BuckID Office in the Ohio Union. If you mail a check, be sure to include the student's Ohio State ID number in the memo line and allow extra processing time if you want the money available prior to the start of an academic term. A deposit envelope is not required.
